Alec Momont (graduate student, Technical University of Delft IDE, The Netherlands) has designed an ambulance-drone capable to deliver defibrillation to cardiac arrest victims in a 12 km2 area within one minute. “At that speed, survival rates can be as high as 80%,” Momont explains.
